Our programs utilize a variety of training tools, such as PowerPoint

Based on the selected programs, the following topics will be covered:

Writing an Effective Affirmative
Action Plan - How to develop and implement an effective affirmative action
program.

Employment Processes Training –
Programs that cover the selection, disciplinary, and related processes
directed at eliminating the potential for bias and ensure that the affirmative
action program is properly implemented.

Record keeping and Documentation
Process (i.e. employee files).

Diversity & Organization – When
properly understood and leveraged, diversity can be an organization’s greatest
asset. This program focuses on the impact of changing demographics on the
effectiveness of an organization and on how diversity goes beyond issues of
race and gender. Participants learn to understand that new communication and
leadership skills are necessary in managing diversity while learning to
identify biases and stereotypes.

Direct Dealing - AA/EEO – The
focus of this program is on a pro-active approach to Equal Employment and
Affirmative Action regulations. The EEO Game is utilized to highlight ordinary
business situations and to illustrate how current legislation can impact
everyday decision-making. Participants will review current federal EEO
legislation and learn procedures for addressing EEO complaints and charges.

Interviewing Within the Law –
This interactive program enables participants to review and consider their
interviewing technique and to evaluate commonly asked interview questions
based on EEO standards. Participants will learn how to plan all interviews
carefully by describing the specific job and performance skills required for
the position creating an objective interviewing process.

Performance Planning & Process
Management – In today’s workplace, it is critical that all members of the team
contribute to the achievement of the organization’s goals. Performance
planning including the establishment of performance objectives is critical to
this process. This program provides participants with the skills necessary to
effectively leverage the components of the performance management process,
including performance plans and appraisals. Participants will learn the
components of the performance management cycle. They will also understand how
to gain employee involvement and commitment to the process and
goals/objectives, and methods for diminishing the emotion related to
performance management.

Coaching and Counseling –
Participants learn to use interpersonal skills and the coaching process to
assist in achieving success through performance improvement and/or behavioral
changes. By using the ongoing process of coaching, managers help employees to
continue to refine and improve their performance and level of contribution.
